I worked with author, Rachel Dixon and Wide Eyed Editions to create this beautiful beast of a book! 52 fully illustrated pages take the reader on a journey of discovery throughout the United Kingdom. The book comprises of 1000’s of hand-drawn icons, 100’s of inky portraits and 52 illustrated county maps. I learnt so much whilst working on this project and I’m proud to have worked on a children’s book that celebrates history, learning, eccentricities and diversity.
“Maps of the United Kingdom is a comprehensive overview of the people, events and idiosyncrasies that give this land its identity. The book is large in format and once placed on a table the maps can be pored over by the reader as they explore the country.” The AOI
